About the Mental Health of Indigenous People Initiative

This Initiative started with research focusing on Kuwait’s indigenous people and shifted focus to Native Americans with the arrival of Dr. Catherine Burnett at Tulane. The purpose of this initiative is to understand the risk and protective factors for mental health from the perspective of health and mental health disparities.
